It is with great sadness that the Board announces the death of Dr. Johann Franz Durrer, the Senior Independent Non-executive Director of the Globaltrans’ Board.
We will be forever grateful for Johann’s dedication, leadership, friendship and his invaluable contribution to Globaltrans and our corporate culture over the past 14 years. He has served on the board since the company was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2008 and it has been a privilege for us to work alongside him for so many years. On behalf of the whole Globaltrans team, we extend our deepest condolences to his family at this difficult time.

Dr. Johann Franz Durrer
Dr. Durrer joined the Board of Globaltrans in March 2008. He was the Senior Independent Non-executive Director, Chairman of the Remuneration and Nomination committees.
Dr. Durrer began his career at Union Bank of Switzerland and in 1970 founded Fidura Treuhand AG which provides bookkeeping, auditing and financial services. Dr. Durrer graduated from the University of Zurich with a doctorate in Economics and was a member of the Swiss Fiduciary Association.
